Mary Helen Combs

Mary Helen Combs, 67, of Reliance, Tennessee passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024. Mary Helen was born on July 15, 1956, in Warren, Ohio to the late George Roger Bates and Margaret Massey Bates. She was a very kindhearted person who loved spending time with her family. Mary Helen also enjoyed going to yard sales and playing bingo.

In her addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Brian Combs Sr.; sister, Margaret Marion Bates; sisters in law, Margaret Gunther, and Louella Parsons; and her brothers in law, Robert Paul Combs, and Edward Lucas.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her two sons, Brian K. Combs II, and Jesse Walter Combs; sisters, Marilyn Donahue, and Monica Hayes; her nephews, Frederick Donahue, and Timmie Donahue II; daughters, Carlettia Muir, and Belinda Gale Musick; her sisters in law, N. Susan Prescott, and Maritta Angel; and her grandson, David Alexander Morales; along with a host of extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024, at 11:00 am at Archville Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Wilfred Wrigth officiating.
