Mary Ann Ragland

Mary Ann Ragland, 58, passed away on October 6th, 2021. She was a resident of Meigs County and lived in Decatur, TN.
Mary was born on December 10th, 1962 in Syracuse NY. Besides spending time with her family and friends, Mary had a passion for being outdoors soaking up the sunshine and loving on the babies. She was a friend to everyone and never met a stranger. She touched many lives with her outgoing personality and boisterous laugh. She loved telling jokes and being the life of the party. She grew up in Apopka, Florida and graduated from Apopka High School- class of 1980.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret (Lyle) Schoenrock and Dalton Chaney. She is survived by her three children, Joseph DeVillers, Christina Ragland, Lily (Eric) Knutson; her grandson Dominick DeVillers; and her three sisters, Catherine Quigley, Wendy Chaney, and Elizabeth (Danny) McGee.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at 3:00 PM in the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland, TN with the Reverend Joe Dial officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2:00 PM until the 3:00 PM service at the funeral home.
