Martha was full of life, love and will be cherished forever by all who loved her. Martha was always giving of her time to others and went out of her way to lift up a hurting heart, always knowing what to say. Martha was an amazing seamstress, and she often made wedding and bridesmaid dresses for her many nieces. Martha's compassion was beyond measure, she was thoughtful and kind to everyone she met. She enjoyed talking with her family and friends. Martha also loved baking pies! She loved animals (especially Molly), watching Hallmark movies, gardening, flowers, birds, traveling, praying for others, estate sales and shopping. Her laugh carried such joy and will never be forgotten. Martha was so many things to so many people - strong, fierce, elegant, graceful, kind, funny... whatever you needed, she quickly picked up on that and found a way to meet that need. She was our Superwoman and one of a kind. God broke the mold after he made her. She supported her children in all their endeavors. If you knew Martha, you would know she loved emeralds and pearls and to honor her, please wear your emeralds and/or pearls to her service (if you are able).

In lieu of flowers, contribution can be made to S.W. Latimer Endowment Scholarship Fund, 900 Walker Street, N.E., Cleveland, TN 37311, in memory of Martha Jo Rogers.
