Martha Goss

Martha Gail Rakestraw Goss, 64, passed away early Thursday morning, August 15, 2019, in McDonald, TN. She was of the Christian faith and enjoyed gardening, reading, bird watching and outdoors, shopping, and spending time with her family and grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, B.D. and Vernice Rakestraw; husband, Larry Goss; brothers, Jack, Thomas and Dan Rakestraw.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Benjamin (Bianca) Goss; daughter, Kerry (Gary) Avans; siblings, Mike and Steve Rakestraw, Willine Clowers and Karen Cross; and grandchildren, Devin, Gabrielle and Lily.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening, August 24, 2019, from 4:30 PM until 7:00 PM at Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown Road in Cleveland, TN. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will follow the visitation time at 7:00 PM.
