Obituary
Martha Elizabeth "Moppy" Nabors, 69, a resident of East Ridge, TN passed away on Friday night, August 24, 2012 in a Chattanooga health care facility. Martha, a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area was born on January 31, 1943 a daughter of the late Joseph and Mildred Powell. Martha was of the Baptist faith and retired from the industrial maintenance department of East Ridge Hospital. She will be forever remembered for being a loving wife and mother.
In addition to her parents, Martha is also preceded in death by a sister Linda Jean Floyd.
Martha leaves here to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 24 years William "Bill" Nabors, daughter Cynthia Jean Nabors, one sister Donna Jo Erwin (Terry) of Fort Oglethorpe, GA, two brothers Larry Powell of Chattanooga and Richard Hilary Powell (Imogene) of Flat Rock, NC, and also numerous other extended family members and friends.
The family is planning a private memorial service to be held at a later date.
