Marlene Joyce Withrow

Marlene Joyce Withrow, 84, of Charleston TN passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones.
Marlene was born on November 11, 1937, in Monroe County, TN to the late Vet and Aroshia Morgan. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed reading her Bible. Marlene also enjoyed traveling and fishing, tending to her garden and beautiful flowers. But above all she loved her family dearly and will be missed by both family and her friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Marlin Vester Morgan, Jr.
Marlene would have celebrated her 65th anniversary with her beloved husband James Ellis Withrow, Sr. on January 26, 2022. Along with Jim she leaves behind her devoted family to cherish her memory; James Ellis Withrow, Jr. and wife Robin, Stephen Lynn Withrow and wife Shannon, grandchildren; Jeremy Withrow and wife Teaha, Jason Withrow and wife Rebecca, Bailey Turner and husband Derek, Katie Landrith and husband Sam, great grandchildren; Tyler, Trevor and Jameson Withrow and Charlotte Blair Turner, sisters Patsy Ownby and Marie Myers and husband Ray, as well as several brothers and sisters in law and nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Kindred Hospice Team for taking such good care of Marlene, especially Dominique. Also the family would like to extend their appreciation to the Eaton Corporation and Duracell for allowing Jimmy and Steve to spend as much time as needed with their mother during the last few weeks.
Visitation for Marlene will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM at Companion Funeral Home, 2415 Georgetown Rd. NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. Graveside service will immediately follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Todd Collins officiating.
