Mark Wesley Malone

Mark Wesley Malone, 56, born July 9th, 1961 of Athens, TN passed away in his home on April 1, 2018. He was a member of Mt. Verd Baptist Church. He was a loving father and husband. He is preceded in death by his father and mother; Lillie & Thomas Malone, brother Michael Malone, grandson Johnny Ghormley and a special friend and brother in law Gary Turpin.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Malone and son Brian Malone, step children Jeff & Tina Land of Decatur, TN, Wayne Land of Charleston, TN and Lannisa Land of Athens, TN. Grandchildren include Makayla and Jeffery Land, Nicholas Ghormley and Autumn Land, great grandchildren include Mia, Haiden and Haiston Ghormley, two brothers Marshall Malone, Larry and wife Judy Malone, sister Faye Turpin, nieces Rhonda & husband Jim Withrow and Bridgette Malone, great niece Jamie Withrow, sister in law Maria Malone, two nephews Jeremy and Joe Malone. Mark was loved by many people. He will always be remembered for his love for the Lord and his kind heartedness.
A graveside service is planned for Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 12:00 PM in the Cedar Grove Cemetery with Pastor Donnie Dalton officiating.
