Marion Virginia Roark Albritton

Marion Virginia Roark Albritton, 85, of McDonald, passed peacefully at her home on Monday, Dec. 21, 2020.
She was born in McDonald on Oct. 12, 1935, to the late Charles Herman Roark and his wife, Alice Marie Pope Roark. She was the oldest of five children.
Virginia attended Bradley Central High School in Cleveland. She demonstrated her passion for family as a caregiver for many years. She enjoyed cooking and was a gifted seamstress.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Herman Roark and Donald Roark.
She leaves behind her husband, Loyd Franklin Albritton of McDonald; daughter, Karen Melton (George S.) of McDonald; two grandchildren: Mark Green and Brandy Green of McDonald; two great-grandchildren: Taylor Anderson and Asa Green; one sister, Eva Jean Roark White; one brother, Kenneth H. Roark, both of McDonald; and many other family and friends.
Due to the current COVID pandemic, Virginia’s Celebration of Life and graveside service will be announced in the near future.
The family suggests memorials be made to Hospice of Chattanooga.
