Maria Nichole Russell

Maria Nichole Russell, 40, of Rockford, TN went to be with her Savior on Tuesday, June 13th, 2023. She was a loving daughter and mother. She was preceded in death by grandparents Heyser and Verna Carpenter, and James Russell; great-grandparents Lifus and Annie Edwards, Clay and Mary Carpenter, Harold and Evelyn Lee, and Ben and Cricket Russell. Maria is survived by her precious boys Chance (10) and Canaan (7); parents Richard and LisaAnne Russell; grandmother Betty Lee Russell; special great- aunt, "Beecie" Bernice Edwards: special aunt, Pam (Garry) Ivens; special cousins David (Ashlee) Ivens, Josh (Danielle) Ivens; God-Parents Pete and Kim Carter, best friend Jennifer Davis Loan.

Maria was a member of Clarks Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she gave her life to Christ at age 6. Maria rededicated her life to Christ just days before her death.

Maria loved her boys with all her heart. She taught them to love God, family, friends, and to do everything you can to help others and make their lives easier. Maria showed this to her boys with her last act - she had chosen to donate her organs so that others might live.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Maria held at Clark's Grove Church, 3137 Old Knoxville Hwy, Maryville, TN on Thursday, June 22, 2023. Friends and family may come visit with the family from 5-6:30 followed by a brief service led by Rev Nick Coker.
