Obituary
Margie Marie Peak, 70, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Monday February 17, 2014. She was born on June 6, 1943 to the late R.D. and Icey Gates. Margie was a lifelong resident of the Cleveland area and a member of Ocoee Church of God. She was a very hard working woman that loved and cared for her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She loved flowers, quilting, cooking, and was very quick witted and comical.
In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by seven siblings. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 51 years William “Bill” Peak; three daughters: Rosella Peak, Margarita Clewett (Jim) of Brookings, OR, Loretta Fox-Peak; one son William “Junior” Peak (Kim); two sisters Della Hughes of Iuka, MS and Opal Bradham (Richard); two brothers Carl Gates (Vickie) and Hoyt Gates; eight grandchildren: Robert Peak, Riley Peak, Dawson Peak, Benjamin Peak, Adam Fox, Landon Fox, Robbie Stowell, and Frankie Stowell.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday February 21, 2014 at Beech Springs Baptist Church located at 2328 Horns Creek Road, Ocoee, TN 37361. The family will receive friends on Thursday Night February 20th from 5:00pm-8:00pm at the church and on Friday from 10:00am until the 11:00am service time. Interment will follow the service in Dill Cemetery. The grandchildren will be serving as pallbearers. Rev. Jerry Herron and Rev. Jerry Campbell will be officiating the service.
