Margaret May Smith

Margaret Mae (Kadle) Smith,87, resident of Cleveland, TN, passed in her home on July 31, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born January 17, 1936, in Hamilton, Ohio. She made Cleveland her forever home in 1971. She was a 27-year employee of Duracell and was happily able to retire in 1999.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Kadle, brothers Marvin and Homer Kadle, sisters Dorothy Hatfield, Margie Henry, Alta Kadle and Judy Cross. She is survived by her brother, Merle Kadle, daughter Christine Kilgore, grandchildren Tabitha Smith, Thomas Kilgore Jr. and Chrysta Kilgore, two great-grandchildren Evan Lowe and Aerith Kilgore, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

She asked there to be no services and to be put to rest peacefully.
