Margaret Keener

Margaret Keener, 73, beloved small business owner of the Puff'n Stuff, passed away on January 8, 2024, in Chattanooga, TN, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, entrepreneurship, and love. Margaret was born on December 20, 1950, in Birmingham, AL, to J.E. Salmon and Maxine Salmon.

Margaret's entrepreneurial spirit led her to establish and successfully run the Puff'n Stuff, where she poured her heart and soul into delighting customers with her unique creations. Her dedication to her business was matched only by her devotion to her family and friends.

Margaret's life was enriched by her partner David Oldaker and the joy of raising her son, Shannon Brunner. She was a loving partner, mother, and friend, warmth, and infectious laughter. Margaret's passion for her work at the Puff'n Stuff was evident to all who knew her, and she leaves behind cherished memories for those she touched.

In addition to her brother Timothy Salmon, Margaret is mourned by countless friends, extended family members. She is preceded in death by her partner David Oldaker, her parents J.E. Salmon and Maxine Salmon, her son Shannon Brunner, and many furry companions who brought her immense joy throughout the years.

In lieu of flowers, Margaret's wish was for donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, reflecting her compassionate nature and desire to help those in need. Margaret will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her kindness, resilience, and the joy she brought to all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
