Margaret Holmes, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, peacefully passed away on September 3, 2023, at the age of 92. Margaret was born in the heart of Boston, Massachusetts, to her proud parents, Edward Jones and Cecelia Jones. She carried their legacy forward with grace and warmth throughout her long and meaningful life.

Margaret's life was marked by love, compassion, and a tireless dedication to her family and the nursing profession. She was a shining example of strength and resilience. In the journey of life, she found her soulmate, Chester Holmes, with whom she built a loving and enduring marriage. As a nurse, she touched countless lives with her caring and nurturing spirit, leaving an indelible mark on those she served.

Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Chester Holmes, and her parents, Edward and Cecelia Jones. While she may no longer be with us in person, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know and love her.

Margaret is survived by her devoted daughters: Karen (Steve) Fellows, Gail (Bruce) Rounds, Susan Cagno, and Kim (Keith) Arthur. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Jessica (Deedee) and Hannah (Jay) Fellows, Jennifer (Mike) Rounds, Kyle (Evelyn) Arthur, Chad (Jennifer) Arthur, Loren Cagno, Frankie Cagno, Leasha (Mary) Borgan, Jessie (Lindsey) Young, and Josh (Jessica) Reed.

Margaret's nurturing spirit extended to her great-grandchildren, who brought endless joy to her life: Mason Arthur, Ian Arthur, Ansleigh Arthur, Natalie Brown, Candace Reed, Wayne Reed, and Liam Young.

Margaret Holmes was a remarkable woman whose kindness, love, and dedication touched the lives of many. She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will continue to inspire and uplift her family and all who knew her.

As we say goodbye to Margaret, let us remember the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the beautiful memories she leaves behind. May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love of those who went before her, and may her legacy live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

The family will have a private celebration of life at a later date and time. Final Arrangements have been entrusted to COmpanion Funeral and Cremation Service, Chattanooga Chapel.
