Margaret Farmer

Margaret Kay Works Farmer, 86, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. Margaret was born on July 23, 1938 in Hamilton County to the late James and Violet Williams Works. She loved her family, her church, and her church family. Margaret was loved by all who knew her and will be sincerely missed.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Farmer; her sisters, Mary Works, Judy Works Garner, and Jenny Works Booth; brothers, Bill (Geraldine) Works, Ralph (Evelyn) Works, and Wayne Works; her infant brother, Benny Ray Works; and her sister-in-law, Wilma Works.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her brothers, Tommy (Mary) Works; and Robert Works; and her sister-in-law, Barbara Trentham; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home of Cleveland with Pastor Rob Works, and Pastor Justin Akins Officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm prior to the service. A graveside service is to follow at Stanfield Baptist Church Cemetery.
