Lynda Gayle Murray Lyles

On Wednesday, May 3, 2023, our precious mother joined her beloved husband, her parents, and her brother at the feet of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after a brief illness.

Lynda was born on February 27, 1943, in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late Herbert William and Florine Bennett Murray. Before moving to Cleveland Lynda was a longtime resident of East Ridge, Tennessee. Lynda was an active member of North Cleveland Baptist Church and loved her Sunday school class. She also volunteered to help in the music department at the church.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her three children, Kristy Lyles Parker (Steve), Ret. Colonel Joseph Martin Lyles Jr. (Marianne), and Stacye Lyles Earnhardt (Frank); five grandchildren, Ashlye Noelle Parker, Lyndsay Parker Smith (Tyree), Brody Earnhardt (Keena Taylor), Kota Earnhardt, and Zane Earnhardt; and her great grandchildren, Willie Smith, and Jessie Smith; along with a host of extended family, and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, May 8, 2023, at 4:00 pm at North Cleveland Baptist Church with Dr. Jay McCluskey officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm prior to the service.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Hamilton Memorial Gardens at 11:00 am with Dr. Jay McCluskey officiating.
