Luther Willis Bullins, 81, of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. Willis was born on July 30, 1943, in Polk County to the late Albert and Noonie Bullins. He was a graduate of Polk County High School. After graduating he served his country in the U.S. National Guard. Willis retired from a career of over 30 years at Bowater in the finishing and shipping department.
In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and loved coon hunting where he accidentally killed 2 deer along the way. Willis was a self-proclaimed handy man that would spend more time fixing what he had broken than anything else. He also enjoyed working on his apartments and mowing his grass.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Eugene Bullins, C.W. Bullins, and Wallace Bullins; and his grandson, Baby Santos.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter, Wendy (Mario) Santos; and his grandsons, Maddisen Santos, and Masen Santos; along with his nephew, nieces, extended family, and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 7:30 at Philippi Baptist Church with Pastor Sammy Hooker officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm prior to the service.
