Luke Edward Cartwright

Luke Edward Cartwright, 51, of Decatur, TN passed away on December 5, 2022, at St. Thomas West in Nashville, TN. He was born in Cleveland, TN on December 29, 1970, to the Louise and the late W.C. Cartwright. He was of the Baptist faith. Luke enjoyed fishing and working with Eastview Ministries, but he especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Dennis Jiles.

He leaves behind his loving wife Andrea Jiles Cartwright; his mother, Louise Cartwright; mother-in-law Mary Jiles; daughters Halie Elisabeth Cartwright, Tamara Dawn Cartwright (Antonio Butts), and Savannah Pocahontas Elzora Cartwright; five siblings, two sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law; many aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, and a very special grandmother Elisabeth Bennett; and the apple of his eye, his grandson Jamison Luther Butts.

In lieu of flowers the family asks you donate to Eastview Ministries in his name.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Burdette Baptist Church starting at 5:00 PM.
