Lucille Herron

Frances Lucille Herron was born on August 7, 1928 and departed this life August 28, 2017. She was a native of Cleveland, TN and lived her life there among family and friends. She graduated from Bradley High School in 1946. She retired from Duracell and was a member of First Baptist Church in Cleveland.

She was preceded in death by her parents H.E. (Jack) and Leona McConnell Dooley, husband Calvin Herron, and her sister Doris Crane.
She is survived by daughters Linda Herron Griffin of Wilmington, NC and Brenda Herron Brown and husband Ken of Cleveland as well as special niece, Cathy Ruth of Cleveland. She is also survived by her grandchildren Lindsay Climer Arnold and Brandon of Birchwood, Lacy Climer Rackley and Wes of Cleveland, Kathleen Brown Ingraham and Will of Alpharetta, GA, Laura Griffin Hunt and Jamie of Wilmington, NC, Genie Griffin and Joe Castonguay of Boone, NC and Jeffrey Patrick Griffin of Wilmington, NC. Her very special great grandchildren Eli Fisher Arnold and Imri Joel Arnold of Birchwood and Brynne Mulligan and William Joel Rackley of Cleveland also survive. Also surviving are her sister Nell Dotson, brother Jack Dooley (Sue) and brother-in-law Bob Crane all of Cleveland. In addition to these, she is also survived by her extended Herron family.

The family will receive friends from 4:00pm until 6:00pm on Thursday August 31, 2017 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A celebration of life service will be held at 6:00pm on Thursday following the visitation with Rev. Tom Wickes officiating. Interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens on Friday September 1, 2017 at 11:00am.
