Lowel Franklin Sims

Frank Sims, age 83 of Cleveland, departed this life on Wednesday evening, November 10, 2021 at his residence. Born on April 20, 1938 to the late Jack and Lou Ella Sims, he was a native and lifelong resident of Bradley County and was of the Church of God Faith. Frank served his country as a veteran of the United States Army and was retired after 35 plus years from the Bradley Farmers CoOp. he loved watching westerns, music, singing, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jeff Sims; and stepson, Dale Hayes.
Left behind to cherish Frank’s memory are his wife, Bertha Sims; children, Barbara Sims(Terry), Darlene Padgett(Kenny), and Frenda Sims; grandchildren, Shane Thompson, David Padgett(Casey), Stacy Higdon, Josh Blackwell, and David Sims; brother, Ray Sims; stepsons, Darrell Hayes, Douglas Hayes, Ray Hayes, and Michael Hayes; as well as several greatgrandchildren, other extended family members and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life and Home going for Lowell Franklin Sims will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, November 16, 2021 from the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home with Brother Gary Farris officiating. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with Military honors concluding the services.
The family will receive friends from 5 PM until 7PM on Monday at the funeral home.
