Louise Edwards

Louise Edwards, age 86, of Cleveland, went to rest in Paradise on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at her residence. Born on December 21, 1935 in Savannah, GA to the late John and Lillie Mae Renew, she lived a number of years in North Georgia before settling in Bradley County eight years ago, and was a member of Liberty Gospel Tabernacle. She was a kind and compassionate person who loved Her Lord and everyone she met.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Wesley Edwards; daughter, Marie Bailey; and three brothers.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Bea Williams; grandchildren, Elton Todd(Shannon) and Erica Gushlak (Dave); sister, Rita McCorkle; as well as five great-grandchildren, several extended family, caregivers, and friends.

A Celebration of Life and Home going for Margaret Louise Edwards will be held at 2 PM Saturday, April 16, 2022 from the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Springfield Cemetery Annex in South Georgia at a later date.

The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until the funeral hour on Saturday at the funeral home.
