Louis Alexander Wichman

Surrounded by family, Louis Alexander Wichman, 74, passed away at home on Wednesday, September 25th, 2019. Louis was born in Jackson, MS, on November 30, 1944. He was the youngest child of Warwick A. and Waudell Wilkinson Wichman. His family moved to Chattanooga, TN, where he attended East lake Elementary School, Tyner Junior High School, and graduated from Tyner High School. After graduation, Louis served in the Air National Guard. While in Chattanooga, Louis worked as a successful business man. He owned and operated The Greek Roma Grill in downtown Chattanooga, New Orleans Snowballs and Cinema 1 & 2 Theaters in Cleveland, TN. In the early 90s, Louis and family moved to Belize, Central America, where they owned and operated
Al-J’s Restaurant where he made many life-long friends.

Louis is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Warwick E. Wichman. He is survived by his wife, Andrea Hamm Wichman, daughter Paige (Marc Mayes) and son Joshua, grandchildren Olivia Mayes and Sawyer Mayes, sister Norma Wichman Gray (Bob) and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank their dear family friend, Maria Gregoria Gonzalez, for all her loving support and care.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, The Community Kitchen or a charity of your choice.
