Lola Lee Fuller

Lola Lee Fuller, age 72, of Cleveland passed away on Friday, April 22nd, 2022. She was surrounded by loved ones at the time of her passing.

Lola was born in Anderson, South Carolina on October 27th, 1949, to Freelan and Louise Pearson.
Her family moved to Tarpon Springs Florida when she was young. She proudly graduated from Tarpon Springs High School in 1968. She joined the workforce after high school and met Richard Fuller. The two married and started a family before moving to Cleveland in 1978.

Over the years Lola was a home maker as well as working in several jobs outside the home. She also served her community as a foster parent, and a volunteer with both The Salvation Army and Habitat for Humanity ReStore. Additionally, she used her love of sewing and crafting to benefit her family and the community regularly. She was a two time cancer survivor and was known for her upbeat personality, even during the hard times.

Lola was preceded in death by her father, Freelan Pearson; an infant sister, Wanda Pearson; and her favorite son-in-law Pete Sampson.

Lola is survived by her husband, Richard Fuller; her children, Michael (Kristi) Fuller, Aimee Sampson; and Terry (Christa) Fuller along with grandchildren, Alex Fuller, Sarah (Dakota) Anderson, Emily (Dakota) Fuller, Liam Sampson, Thomas Sampson, and Gillian Sampson. She was blessed in recent years to welcome two great grandchildren, Dante Pell, and Ryleigh Anderson. She also leaves behind her mother, Louise Pearson, sisters Kathy (Bob) Armstrong, Sandy (Kevin) Hantsche, Debbie Pearson, and brother Tom Pearson, along with an abundance of nieces and nephews. All will miss her welcoming spirit and moxie.
The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our loving family and friends along with the caring medical staff from the SICU at Tennova who assisted us as Lola finished her earthbound works.

A memorial service will be held to honor Lola’s life at Companion Funeral home on Sat. May 7th at 3 o’clock. Visitation time is scheduled from two till three p.m.on the same day.
