Sally Jones

Lola B. "Sally" Jones, 77, of Cleveland passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024. Mrs. Jones worked at Hickory Springs for 35 years. She was a member and attended Samples Memorial Baptist Church. She was well known by many as a kind Godly woman that loved the Lord, and always had time to talk to someone about her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her hobbies included spending time with her family, attending church, and spoiling her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Thomas Allen "Tom" Jones, Sr., parents, Fred and Edna Mae Reid; brother Fred Reid Jr., Bobby Reid, and a sister, Helen Tate. Survivors include children Thomas A. "Tommy" Jones Jr. and wife Tracey, Keith Jones and wife Samantha all of Cleveland; grandchildren, Sarah Herr and husband Hunter, Ashley Hammons and husband Matthew, and Thomas Jones, Nathan Taylor, and Savannah Stout; great grandchild Einer Hammons; siblings: sisters, Mary Lou Hyatt, Jeanetta Palmer; brothers Norbert Reid, Farris Reid, Louis Reid, Loye Reid, Low Perry (Stub) Reid, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. All of which will miss her very dearly.

A celebration of life service will be held at 5:00pm on Thursday, September 26th at Samples Memorial Baptist Church. The family will be receiving friends from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm prior to the service. A graveside service is to follow at Samples Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery with Hunter Herr, Matthew Hammons, Louis Reid, Donnie Hyatt, Marty Tate, and Loye Reid serving as pallbearers.
