Obituary

Lloyd William Cantrell, 83, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Friday night, February 21st, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. Lloyd was born on February 27th, 1930 in Vian, OK a son of the late Lawrence and Eva Ellis Cantrell. He has made Cleveland his home since 1963. Lloyd was a member of the Cohutta Seventh-day Adventist Church. He was the owner and operator of Cantrell’s Auto Service since 1971.

In addition to his parents Lloyd is preceded in death one sister Norma Lee Singelton and one granddaughter Stephanie Hilliard.

Lloyd leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of sixty six years Charlyanne Holland Cantrell, six children Sherre E. Cantrell, Gary (Becky) Cantrell, Patty (Steve) Hilliard, Scott Cantrell, Michael (Ellie) Cantrell and Tammy (Mike) Rogers, seven grandchildren Soni Allen, Blake Cantrell, Garrett Cantrell, Olivia Cantrell, Nichole Loemaker, Sheena Cantrell and Sasha Tinsley and seven great grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers Don Cantrell of Apison, TN and Tracy Cantrell of Manchester, TN, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

The family will hold a private memorial service at their home at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in honor of his son, Scott L. Cantrell.
