Lloyd "George" Roberson, 75, of Georgetown, Tennessee passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. George was born on January 2, 1949, I Ooltewah, Tennessee to the late Lloyd George Roberson Sr., and Alline "Shorty" Roberson. He was known as the diesel doctor. Everyone always called him for advice about semis. When not working on trucks, he loved watching westerns. There was always a western playing on the tv. He was the best PaPoo to his granddaughters and an even better Hunky to his Bride. He was the best of the best and couldn't be beaten.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Lloyd Douglas Roberson; brothers, John Edward Williamson, and Lesley Roberson; Sister-in-law, Nancy Myers; his mother and father-in-law, William "Dick" Myers, and Maggie Myers; along with several nieces and nephews.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Sherry Roberson; daughter, Kelly Overly; his granddaughters, Selena (Ryan) Axley, Torey Overly (Patrick McMinn), and Natalie Roberson; his special bonus daughter, Tina (Bobby) Tinsley; special nephew, Jason (Amanda) King; his special adopted son, Erik Goodwin; sisters, Fay Stephens, Gladys (Zach) Shaw, and Lori (Scott) Stopher; sister in law, Carolyn Brown; special neighbors, Dusty and LaVonne Caldwell; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and lifelong friends.

Honoring George's wishes, there are no services planned at this time.
