Linda Rae Young

Linda Rae Young, 69, passed away March 5, 2025, after she lost her battle with cancer, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 13, 1955, to the late Fred G. Young and Isabell H. Lozier Young and of the Baptist faith. Linda loved spending time with her family and friends. She was thoughtful, witty, and cared deeply about others. Linda enjoyed shopping, driving, and watching movies. She was an avid foodie.

In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her brothers, Calvin Young, Don Young, Eddie Young and Bob Young.

Survived by her sons, Eric (Taryn) Young and Jeremy Myers; daughter, Alina (Jerry Belcher) Jones; grandchildren, Kove Miller, Camara Young, Corvo Young, Anthony Jones, Jr., William and Marissa Jones, Malik Jones, Keandre Jones, and Brian Young; great-grandchildren, Amarie Hawkins, Rayden Jones, Madison Jones, and Niomi Jones; a host of nieces and nephews.

Linda will be deeply missed.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
