Linda Mae Runion Vallejo

Linda Mae Runion Vallejo, 71, of Athens, TN passed away at her home on Wednesday morning June 29, 2022. She was born on September 25, 1950 the daughter of the late Norman and Margaret Runion. Linda retired from Tri-County Center of Athens. She grew up as a member of Woodward Church of God and was a long time member of Family Worship Center in Athens. She enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with her family and, above all else, loved the Lord.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Wanda Sue and her great grandchildren Elyssa and Elijah Orejuela.
Linda leaves behind her children, daughter Robin and son-in-law Shane Harrold, son Timothy and daughter-in-law Faith Vallejo, and daughter Cecilia Vallejo and six grandchildren: Enrique Orejuela, Krysten Nieves, Haley and Matthew Harrold, T. J. and Taylin Vallejo, and great grandson Levi Orejuela and her beloved twin sister Brenda Runion as well as her brothers Chris, Dewayne, and Kenneth Runion, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A service celebrating her life will be on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at 4:00 PM in the Athens chapel of Companion Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours prior to the service on Sunday.
The interment and committal service will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
