Linda Faye Stinnett, 72, of Benton, TN passed away on Monday February 22, 2021. She was born in Benton, TN on November 18, 1948 the daughter of the late Nelson and Barton Cain. She was a member of Mountainview Baptist Church. Linda enjoyed going to church, gardening, playing with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her chickens, cats, and dogs. She was loved by everyone she met.
In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her husband Carl Stinnett, with whom she was married to for almost 50 years; sisters: Mary Sue Cain, Mary “Ella” Stinnett, Margaret Baber, Martha Stinnett, and Flora Britt; brothers “L.N.” Lamar Nelson Cain, Floyd Cain, Floyd “Joe” Cain, and Alvin “Preston” Cain.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter Cindy Fansler and husband Les; sons Tim Stinnett and wife Sheila and Stan Stinnett and wife Angie; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren; sister in law Edith Jones and husband Willard and brothers in law Teet Stinnett, Guinn Stinnett and wife Brenda, Jerry Stinnett, and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
A funeral service for Linda will be held at 4:00pm on Thursday March 4, 2021 at Mountainview Baptist Church. She will be laid to rest following the service at Old Ocoee Cemetery. Due to Covid-19, face coverings will be required for those in attendance and social distancing will be practiced.
