Lillie Ruth Fowler

Lillie “Ruth” Fowler, 82, of Cleveland, TN went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Dec. 9th, 2020. She was surrounded by loved ones at her home.
She was affectionately known as a dear friend and “Nana GoGo” to many people. She will be remembered for her truthful opinion, contagious laugh, and feisty, loving spirit. She devoted over forty years of her life as a beautician in Dalton, GA.

Ruth is survived by her children, Missy Bandy (Tommy) of Cleveland, TN, Kathey Bryant of Greeneville, TN, Danny Fowler of Decatur, TN and Tracy Sweat of Brownsville, TN, and daughter-at-heart Nancy Cloonan of Chesterland, OH. She is also survived by her four sisters, Lena Parton, Frankie Parton, Janey Parton and Freda Wanat, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Annie Parton; sister, Shirley Parton; brother, Andy D. Parton; sons: Jimmy “Lynn” Fowler and Dennis Weaver .

A Celebration of Life service will be held at The Journey Church of Cleveland on Sunday, December 13th. Family will receive friends for visitation at 1:30pm, service will follow at 3:00pm. Burial held at Moore’s Chapel. Pall bearers will be Cody Fowler, Adam Houston, Casey Wanat, Devan Burris, Chet Walters and Bill Mantooth. The family has respectfully asked attendees to wear a mask and adhere to social distancing.
