Pete Rogers

Lester "Pete" Rogers, beloved husband, father, brother and friend, passed away on May 19, 2024 in Birchwood, Tennessee surrounded by family. He was born on May 16, 1957 to Lester and Mildred Rogers in Cleveland, Tennessee.

Pete lived a full and adventurous life, always seeking new adventures and making lasting memories with his loved ones. He had a passion for the great outdoors hunting, fishing, and camping.

Pete was a dedicated family man. He was a loving husband to Karen, and a devoted father to his daughter Crystal Velez and sons Mark Rogers and Robert

"Scooter" Johnson. He was also a caring brother to his sister Martha Bean.

Pete was preceded in death by his father Lester Rogers, mother Mildred Rogers, and his brother Billy Joe Rogers.

He is survived by his wife Karen; children Crystal, Mark, Robert; grandchildren Alexis, Leland, Layla and Amaryllis; great grandson Zyaire and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Burdette Baptist Church on Saturday, May 25, 2024 from 11am - 3pm, with service starting at 3pm. Burial will follow at the McClanahan Cemetery, Birchwood, TN.
