Obituary
Leslie Clemet Lee Smith, 92, of Cleveland passed away on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at a local health care facility. Leslie was born here in Bradley County on May 24, 1919 the daughter of the late W.C. “Clem” and Retta S. Lee. She graduated from Bradley Central High School and lived in Cleveland until moving to Chattanooga in 1952 after marriage to her late husband LeRoy T. Smith. She was a former member of Broad Street United Methodist Church in Cleveland and currently a member of Tyner United Methodist Church in Chattanooga. She was retired from the Chattanooga Costume Company where she designed and made costumes for many years.
A funeral service is planned for Friday, March 2, 2012 at 7:00 PM at the Bradley County Healthcare and Rehab Chapel located at 2910 Peerless Road NW Cleveland, TN with the Reverend Glenn Mosley officiating. The family will receive friends there at the Chapel from 5:00 PM until the 7:00 PM service time. A private family interment will be on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with David Gatlin, Roy Hindman, Ray Hindman, Craig Bernizer, Elmer Chambers, and Johnny Stone serving as pallbearers. 
Lesie is survived by her caregivers Donald and Danah Hindman and their children David & Marla Gatlin, Craig and Cynthia Brenizer, Ray & Marilyn Hindman, and Roy & Pam Hindman, the entire staff of Bradley County Healthcare and Rehab and numerous cousins, friends and extended family members.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials may be made to either Tyner United Methodist Church Care Bears, 6805 Standifer Gap Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421 or Bradley County Healthcare and Rehab, 2910 Peerless Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37312.
