Leonid Melnichenko

Leonid Melnichenko, 57, a resident of Ooltewah, TN, passed away Wednesday morning, December 15, 2016. He emigrated from Ukraine to the United States with a fire in his belly, working as a handyman, a self-employed businessman, and a truck driver. He wanted to sit on top of the world, but now rests below it. Wherever he went, he was unafraid to meet new people and leave behind a lasting impression with his larger than life personality. Leaving behind friends and family too soon, he will be dearly missed.
A celebration of life service is planned for 2:00pm on Sunday December 18th, 2016, at Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW. Interment will follow the service in the Lee Cemetery, in McDonald, TN.
The family will receive friends one hour prior, from 1:00pm until the 2:00pm service on Sunday.
