Lee Bo Sawyer

Lee Bo Sawyer, 48, a longtime resident of Georgetown, TN went to his Heavenly home on Thursday, September 30, 2021. He was born in Dalton, Ga on May 29, 1973. Lee was of the Baptist faith. He was currently employed as an audiology technician and loved traveling to the many places his job took him around the United States. Lee was a trained EMT-Paramedic and enjoyed using his skills to help others in need. He had worked for many years with local EMS providers, but recently used his skills as a traveling medic for music festivals. Lee loved to cook outdoors on his smoker and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Laurance & Adelaide Sawyer, maternal grandparents James & Martha Peters, his father and mother-in-law Rev. Thomas & Linda Lane and brother-in-law Steven Lane. -
Lee leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 29 years Angie Lane Sawyer, three children Logan Sawyer, Marijke Sawyer (fiancé David Hail) and Nehemiah Sawyer, his parents Lyle & Barbara Sawyer, one sister Angie Mowery (Jason), two brothers Tracy Gill and Mitchell Gill, one brother-in-law Eddie Lane (Stacy), special friend and boss Travis Flenniken, several nieces, nephews, other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A memorial service is planned for Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 7:00 PM in the Cleveland chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown Road in Cleveland, TN with the Reverend Jamie Lewis officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5:00 PM until the 7:00 PM service time.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to Alzheimer’s foundation, donate a pint of blood (because Lee was an advocate of blood donation) or the charity of your choice in Lee’s memory.
