Leary Dean Garner, 82, passed away on May 24, 2025. He was born to the late Harry "Buck" and Lula Millsaps Garner on November 4, 1942 in Cleveland, Tennessee.

Leary retired from his business, Leary's Custom Auto Trim. He loved watching westerns, and renewing and upholstering antique cars. Leary enjoyed spending time outside, sitting in the swing with his beloved dog, Bailey, and was an avid goat farmer for many years. In his free time, Leary rode 4-wheelers around the farm. Above all, Leary's family was the most important to him.

In addition to his parents, Leary is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Shields Garner, and his siblings, Thurman Garner and Carolyn Osborne.

Leary is survived by his children, Jimmy (Donna) Garner, Tracy (Marsa) Garner, Darlene Ware, grandchildren, Casey (Meagen) Garner, Cara (Austin) Cline, great-grandchildren, Caysen and Kellen Garner, Everett Cline, Kylie and Mackenzie Herring, his special nephew, Dewayne Garner; and his sisters, Christine Steele, Evelyn Passmore, Margaret Christensen, and Lynn McDaniel; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Center Point Baptist Church Cemetery at 1:00 pm with Tommy Anderson officiating.
