Lawrence “Larry” Edward Ray, 53, passed away on June 9, 2022. He was a lifelong resident of Rhea County, TN. Larry loved spending time with his grandchildren, playing pool, making paper roses for pretty ladies, and sitting around a fire at night. He could always make anyone laugh.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Hannah Jane Henderson Ray, and grandson, Brendan.
He is survived by his sisters, Susan Ray of Graysville, TN, and Sarah Ray of Crossville, TN; brother, Thomas Ray of Kansas; children: his Lilman Terry Owen Solomon III, Becky Phillips (Karen); Dale Newton (Tina), Samantha Roberson, Mari Roberson (Kris), and James Newton; and 18 grandchildren.
