Larry Wright

Larry Gilbert Wright, of Chattanooga, passed away at his home on December 22, 2023.

He was born in Anderson County, Tennessee on December 23, 1953 and moved to Chattanooga with his family as a child.

Larry attended Kirkman Technical High School. He lived in East Chattanooga most of his life. Larry enjoyed the outdoors, spending time with his family and taking them fishing.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Grace Singleton Wright & Gilbert Wright, Jr. as well as his former wife Sheila Faye Wright.

Survivors include his son, Larry Michael Wright, step-daughter Shannon Michelle Clark, three sisters; Brenda Tate (Ken), Bobbie Bowman (Pete), Louise Frisbee (Randy), and two brothers; Carl Wright & Wayne Wright (Fawnn); grandchildren, Makayla Massingale, Arianna Perez, Skyleena Perez, Kloe White, Autum White and Brian White. Several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

The family will plan a private memorial at a later date.
