Larry Thomas Hyde

Larry Hyde, age 70 of Delano, departed this life on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Tennova Healthcare in Cleveland. Born on March 16, 1951 in McCaysville, Georgia, he spent a majority of his life in Cleveland and Polk County and attended East Etowah First Church of God. He retired from Peyton’s and enjoyed fishing, camping, playing guitar, praising the Lord and spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mae Hembree Hyde.
Left behind to cherish Larry’s memory are his loving wife, Linda Hyde; daughter, Lacinda Helton and special friends, Brian Stewart; father, Harrison Hyde; sisters, Rosemary Hyde and Nellie Finley; as well as several extended family members and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life and Home going for Larry Thomas Hyde will be held at 3p.m. Saturday, November 20, 2021 at the Unity Church of God with Brother Doyle Lloyd and Brother David Watson officiating. Interment will follow in the Grassy Creek Cemetery in Copper Hill with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 1p.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday at the church.
