Obituary

Larry Steven Taylor, 43, a lifetime resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Thursday, May 1st, 2014. Steve was born on January 19th, 1971 a son of the late Charles M. Taylor.

Steve leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother Bertha Taylor, wife April Taylor, five children Amber Taylor (Jered), Jessica Taylor, Wesley Taylor, Abby Taylor and Dallas Taylor, two grandchildren Malakai & Issak Taylor, three sisters Mary Ann Owens (Larry), Wanda Green (Steve) and Carol Gray (Barry), two brothers Kenneth Mikel (Juanita) and Dewayne Mikel (Betty), father-in-law Randy Varner, sister-in-law Haley Varner, brother-in-law Scotty Higgins, several nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

A celebration of his life is planned for Sunday, May 4th, 2014 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road in Cleveland, TN with the Reverend Johnny Smith and the Reverend Ronnie Ledford officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery with Kenneth Mikel, Jared Cummins, Michael Owens, Kenny Bishop, Barry Gray and Dewayne Mikel serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the 3:00 PM service time.
