Larry Rymer

August 19, 1950 — March 15, 2024

Larry Glen Rymer 73 years old awoke in Heaven with Jesus and his family. He was born in Cleveland TN, with his twin brother Jerry Lynn, to Andy and Ollie (Stamey) Rymer on August 19, 1950.

He worked at A & C Amusement and Vending when he was younger with Jerry. In later years he played harmonicas in a gospel group called Herb and Friends. They played at various nursing homes and at the Senior Center in Bradley Co. He was famous for his rendition of the "Amen" song.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his niece Misty Rymer Thompson, his twin brother Jerry, his sister Mary Lemons Mead and his brother-in-law Doyle Lemons.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his brother Andy M. Rymer and his wife, Brenda, along with their family; Cynda & Tony Moore, their children Zane & Bella; Tammy & Robbie Cross, their children Nate, Cooper & Tsion; his niece Kris Lemons Fox and her husband Bill Fox; his sister-in-law Kathy Rymer and her family, Shane Rymer, Brian Faulkenberry, and Kaleb and Cameron Thompson.

He will be buried on Tuesday March 19th at 10:00 am at Sunset Memorial Gardens, with pallbearers Bill Fox, Nate Cross, Cooper Cross, Robbie Cross, Zane Moore, Shane Rymer, and Brian Faulkenberry with Andy M. Rymer as honorary pallbearer. There will be a memorial service at Companion Funeral Home from 5 to 7pm that evening, with Bill Fox and Andy M. Rymer speaking, for all who would like to come.
