Larry Eugene Link, 80, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on August 14, 2024. Born on February 18, 1944, Larry lived a full and accomplished life.

Larry grew up in Cleveland, Tennessee, where he excelled in athletics, serving as the captain of both the football and basketball teams at Bradley High School. His leadership on the field and court led his teams to state championships, a testament to his dedication and skill. After high school, Larry chose to serve his country by joining the United States Navy. He deployed early but not before earning a scholarship to Austin Peay State University, where he pursued both football and higher education following his military service.

After his time in the Navy, Larry became a successful businessman. He was the proud owner of car dealerships in both Cleveland, Tennessee, and Sanford, Florida, where he built a reputation for his integrity, hard work, and commitment to his community.

Larry was a loving husband to Cheryl Rymer Link, a devoted father to his two sons, Sutton and Dustin Link, and cherished his daughters, Bethany Hutcherson and Tiffany Solomon. He was also a proud grandfather, leaving behind five grandchildren who will forever remember his warmth, wisdom, and kindness.

Larry's life was marked by his love for his wife Cheryl and children, his dedication to his country, and his passion for sports, nature, and animals. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services at the Chattanooga National Cemetery are pending.
