Larry Clayton

Larry Paul Clayton, 70, of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. Larry was born on July 16, 1954 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late James "Bud" and Naomi "Bessie" Clayton. He attended Philippi Baptist Church. Larry was also a member of the Cleveland Bassmasters Club and the Bradley County bass club. He enjoyed fishing, racing and spending time with his family.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Melissa (Lamond) Wells, Alison (Casarae) Lattimore, and Jon (Lauren) Clayton; grandchildren, Alexis Bella, and Gunner; his sister, Melinda (Kenneth "KC") Collier; and nephew, Paul Dunn; along with a host of extended family and friends.

The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, September 8, 2024 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home of Cleveland.

The family will also receive friends on Monday, September 9, 2024 from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home of Cleveland. A celebration of life service is to follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor Josh Stock officiating. A graveside service will follow at McInturff Cemetery with Alvin Howard, Eric Gibson, Eric Blankenship, James Frost, Alan White and Dewayne Gibson serving as pallbearers.
