Kimesia Dawn Rakestraw (Griffith)

Kimesia Dawn Rakestraw, 57, a lifelong native of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away
peacefully with her daughter, son-in-law and sister by her side Friday evening
on August 18, 2023. Kimesia was born on April 26, 1966, in Cleveland,
Tennessee.

She is preceded in death by her father,
Tommy Griffith, grandparents, Willie and John Blackwell, Elbert Goforth, Ava
and Clyde Griffith, and nephew, Justin Davis.

She is survived by her daughter, Chelsea
Rakestraw Nipper, son-in-law, Andrew Nipper, mother, Helen Frances Griffith,
partner, Steve Sullivan, sisters, Debbie Griffith, Michelle Evans (Tim), and
brother, Todd Griffith. Granddaughters, Andi and Averi Nipper, and nieces and
nephews, Savanna Evans, Piper Kyle, River Griffith and Gavin Griffith and many
uncles, aunts and cousins.

Kimesia attended Charleston High School
and graduated in 1984. She worked at CPQ Professional Imaging in Cleveland,
Tennessee, where she met a lifelong friend, Tonya Williams.

If you knew Kimesia, you know she loved
her family, shopping and her cats, Barney and Frederick. The family is forever
grateful for the time they had with her. Kimesia will be missed by many.
