Kenneth Redden, age 77, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2025. Kenneth was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend who touched the lives of all who knew him. He worked for Maytag in Cleveland for 20 years before retiring, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and dedication.
Kenneth had a love for life, enjoying simple pleasures such as fishing, camping, and playing dominoes. He cherished family gatherings and was a devoted husband to his wife, Rebecca L. Redden. Kenneth's love for his family knew no bounds, and he took great joy in watching his grandchildren grow and thrive. His love for the outdoors was matched by his fondness for scenic mountain drives, where he found peace and beauty.
One of Kenneth's greatest joys was dancing with his wife, children, and grandchildren. His love for his family was evident in every step and every moment spent together. He was a man who lived with warmth, kindness, and a deep appreciation for the little moments that made life special.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Rebecca Redden, children Rodger Dale Redden, Trica Marie Kincaid, Jamie Ray Kryter, and Kenneth Ray Redden Jr.; his grandchildren Candace S. Redden, Heather Kincaid, Matthew Redden,Somer Tallent, Ashley Kincaid, Billie Redden, Amber Thompson, Mandy Pritchett, Colleen Hall, Kyle Pritchett, Anekin Kryter Levi Redden, Linx Redden, Boone Reaver, and Anekin Kryter, Kitaira Welch; and his great-grandchildren Chloe Carroll, Abri Farmer, Brooklyn Redden, Mia Kincaid, Paisley Ware, Liam Thompson, Elijah Thompson, and June Stewart, Ella Kaley and Alexis Crisp.
He is also survived by his sister Katherine Marie Kemp (Carl), their children Jason (Karol) Kemp, Jennifer Weir and Ben (Angie) Whitfield, and several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayburn and Eloise Redden and son, Billy Wayne Redden and grnson Travis Pritchett.
A visitation to celebrate Kenneth's life will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 4:00 PM at Companion Funeral Home Cleveland Chapel. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, and he will be deeply missed.
