It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Kenneth Oliver, a hardworking carpenter from Mcdonald, TN. Known for his dedication to his craft and his love for his family, Kenneth was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.
Kenneth, born on April 12, 1949, in Chattanooga, TN, found true joy in the simple pleasures of life like camping, woodworking, collecting knives and guns. But his greatest joy came from the moments spent with his family. Each child and grandchild's birth brought him immense happiness, and he was a devoted patriarch who put his loved ones above all else.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents: Walter Oliver and Gladys Oliver; brother Ray Oliver and grandson Kendall Davis.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, Linda Oliver, and their children: Bobby (Teresa), Barbara (Chris), Beverly (Kenneth), Belinda (Clint), and Kevin (Kristen). He was also a cherished brother to Louise and Lorenzo, and a loving grandfather to TC, Jada, Bryson, Montana, Mersaydes, Hunter, Abigail, Jacob, Olivia, and Charlotte.
The Oliver family will be receiving friends at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral & Cremation Service on Tuesday, May 7th from 2pm to 5pm, with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 5pm.
