Kenneth (Kent) Moore

Kenneth (Kent) Moore was born on August 23, 1952, in Detroit, MI to John and Salone Moore, who preceded him in death. He was the fourth oldest of 7 children. He grew up in Detroit, MI, and formed lasting memories with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by three siblings, John Moore Jr., Ronald Moore, and Barbara Jean Sollie.

Kenneth Moore, beloved father, brother, and friend, had recently moved to Northern Georgia and went to sleep on November 8, 2024, at the age of 72 in Chattanooga, TN.

Kenneth was joined in matrimony to Karen (Cooley) Moore in 1991. His greatest achievements - Kenneth II and Matthew- were born into this union. He also leaves behind three siblings, Gregory (Sharon) Moore, Sandra Humphrey, Patricia (Hugo) Carson, cherished in-laws, Beverly Cooley, Larry (Dawn) Cooley, Derek (Heather) Cooley, and Kathy (Nasson) Joseph. In addition, he leaves to mourn nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.

Kenneth attended Wayne State University and received his Juris Doctorate from Cleveland State University. He became a successful business owner in the field of senior healthcare field until he became ill. Kenneth was known for his hard work ethic, incredible memory, and sense of humor. He was always willing to help those in need when he could. He was deeply passionate about history, politics, and sports. His family and friends will remember him for his hard work, generosity, laughter, and love for family.
