Kenneth Lloyd Hicks

Kenneth Lloyd Hicks, 75, of Athens passed away on Monday, April 15, 2019 at his home. His wife Mary Gail Hicks, 69, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 in a local hospital. Kenneth was born on January 26, 1944 a son the late Elzie & Azeline Hicks. Mary was born on October 27, 1949 a daughter of the late Taylor & Nora Coe. They are also preceded in death by a son Leslie Hicks and several siblings each.
They are survived by three children Melissa Pierce (Troy), Denise Weigner (George) and Stacy Hicks, three grandchildren Makayla Knox (Josh), Cody Pierce and Zachary Pierce and one great grandchild Killian Knox. Kenneth is also survived by three siblings Winston Hicks, Robin Hicks and Dillard Hicks. Mary is also survived by two siblings Ken Coe and Carol Long.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 19, 2019 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM in the Athens Chapel of Companion Funeral Home.
A joint graveside service will follow on Friday at 2:30 PM in the Conasagua Cemetery in Etowah, TN.
