Kenneth Kersey

Obituary
Kenneth Kersey, 83, of Old Fort, TN passed away on Tuesday July 30, 2013 at Bradley Healthcare with his family by his side. He was born on April 24, 1930 to the late Theodore and Lizzie Kersey. He was a lifelong resident of Polk County and member of the Boanerges Baptist Church. Kenneth was a very friendly person and will be remembered as an upbeat spirit and entertainer to those at Bradley Healthcare and Rehab.
In addition to his mother and father, he preceded in death by brothers Roy, Bobby Prince, and Billy Kersey, and one sister, Ruth Ann Kersey Suggs. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his three sisters: Wilma Grace Disharoon (Jim), Betty Kaye Smith (Don), Patsy Joyce Williams (Ronnie). In addition to these he leaves behind several other extended family members and friends, and his second family, the staff and caregivers of Bradley Healthcare and Rehabilitation, where he has resided for the past nine years.
The family will have a graveside service at Boanerges Baptist Church Cemetery on Friday August 2, 2013 at 2:00pm with Rev. Ronald Ledford officiating.
