Kenneth Doyle Gregg, a resident of Charleston, TN, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at age 74. Kenneth was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend; but his most important role was Granddaddy to his three grandchildren.

Kenneth was born in Cleveland, TN on July 31, 1949 to Fred and Ozell Gregg. After graduating from Bradley High School, he was drafted into the Army and served his country in Vietnam from 1969-1970 in the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment in which he received a National Defense Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, and a Vietnamese Service Medal. After his service, Kenneth became a Master Carpenter and eventually retired from E. Miller Construction Company. Kenneth was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed gardening and tending to his home and property, which was his pride and joy.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Deborah; his daughter, Karrie Jones, (Daniel); and his son, David Gregg (Melissa); grandchildren Ella, Hudson, and Houston; his siblings Barbara Humberd (Johnny), Yvonne Silvers (Bill), Carolyn Pruett (Ed), Daryll Gregg (Willie), Donald Gregg (Sandra); and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Ozell Gregg; his in-laws, Earl and Dorothy Sanson; and his brothers Robert Gregg (Jane), and Bill Gregg (Katherine).

Kenneth will truly be missed by all who knew him. Although his journey on this earth has ended, his story will continue within all of those that loved him. He will always be remembered, loved, and his legacy will forever inspire those that were touched by him. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
