Kenneth Cox

Kenneth Cox, age 62 of Dayton, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga. Born on October 7, 1958 to the late Tony Cox and Margie Morgan, he was a native and lifelong resident of Rhea County and was of the Church of God Faith. He had a carpenter’s heart and lived to build and spend time with his family.
Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years Linda Cox; children, Charles and Stacy Cox, Wayne and Shauna Cox, and Joe Cox; grandchildren, Dakota, Jesse, Jacob, Caleb, and Nathaniel; great-grandchildren, Caden, Kylee, and McKenna; sister, Shelia Swafford ; and several extended family and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life and Home going for Kenneth Cox will be held at 3p.m. Monday, June 14, 2021 from the Family Worship Center in Dayton. Interment will follow in the Burchfield (Cranmore Cove) Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1p.m. until the funeral hour at the church prior to the service.
