Kendall Avery Davis

August 12, 1993 — July 18, 2023

Kendall Avery Davis, passed away much too soon, on July 18, 2023. Kendall was a graduate of the school of life, known for his hilarious sense of humor, generous heart, and selfless nature.

Following his high school education, he moved to Nashville for training as a plumber and pipefitter. After that, Kendall became a respected Pipefitter at the Oak Ridge Nuclear Plant. There his kind nature, jovial spirit, and endearing personality earned him countless friends and the love of his work family. He especially shared a close and deep bond with his best friends there, Scott and Boo Boo. Never one to shirk his responsibilities, Kendall always stepped up to help anyone in need - a testament to his boundless generosity.

Kendall had an impressive passion for chainsaws; it served as a reflection of the extent he went to realize his love for crafting with his hands. He was very active, working out regularly, and his pride and joy was his Ford Raptor. Notably, he created several works of love for his dearest wife, Amanda, showcasing his crafting prowess and his deep, unwavering love for her.

Kendall was born to the now-deceased paternal grandparents and is preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Christina Gargala. He is survived by his wife and love of his life for seven memorable years, Amanda Gargala Davis; their adorable daughter, Layla Silvers; his caring sister, Jada Cooper, her husband, Nathan, and their son, Theo; his mother, Beverly Humphrey and stepdad, Kenneth Humphrey; aunts, Belinda Blaylock (husband Clint and their children, Mersaydes and Montana), Barbara Johnson (husband Chris and their children Trey and Bryson Chase); supportive grandparents, Linda and Kenneth Oliver, and his loving uncle, Bobby Oliver and wife, Teresa. His mother-in-law and father-in-law, Tom and Sheila Gargala, also navigate the days with his cherished memories.

Wherever Kendall went, he left waves of joy, laughter, and love. Life may have stopped suddenly for Kendall; however, his memories continue to warm the hearts of friends, family, and everyone fortunate enough to have known him. The spirit of Kendall Avery Davis lives on, as enduring as the crafted gifts he left behind, and as unforgettable as his hearty laughter and that smile. His generosity was even present in Kendall’s passing, as he was able to donate his organs, which have already been matched to two recipients. Rest in Peace, Kendall.

His family will reiceve friends from 4pm until 7pm on Saturday July 29th at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home. A celebration of Kendall's life will be held at 7pm at the funeral home.
